About the event

Join us as we evoke the spirits of the ancient Mayan Ruins for our first ever Hedoné - Restaura event set in the lush jungle of Tulum, Mexico. In collaboration with Restaura Experience we will hold the closing gathering on the 6th, raising the vibrations and consciousness to fully immerse guests in a liberation of pleasure and transformative Psychomagia, enhancing the spirit and the soul. Engulfed in the backdrop of a tropical paradise, we invite you to take off your identity and bathe in something magical, to create a new self and free your heart, unconstrained and uninhibited by society and the world around you. An offer to transcend into primal cosmic energy, the love of your body, your integrity, and the perception of nature in you and around you.

Each Hedoné celebration upholds an ambience of ethical hedonism and supports a loving (re)connection of the participants with a more harmonious, freer version of themselves and with one another. It is a spontaneous live performance that recreates the Poem “Dē Rerūm Natūra”, this is why the attire that each of us chooses to use is so vital. Together, we are co-creating a living painting, expressing natural pleasures and our connection with “Pachamama”, our Great Mother Earth.

Our Immersive journey starts on Thursday, the 3rd of January, with the music and holistic experiences of Restaura Experiencel and culminates with the Hedo-gala on Sunday, the 6th of January. The hedo-gala is a celebration which is a mass performance against Female Genital Mutilation with the motto “Don’t cut the Flower.” Guided by our motto and the idea that pleasures are natural, we dress ourselves in elements inspired by nature and light. Other than flowers, feathers, shells, etc… only light-colored fabrics (white, cream, beige, gold, silver) are allowed. Body paint and (biodegradable) glitter are welcome. We also love skin! Transparency and nudity are encouraged and celebrated. We expect all participants to comply with the dress code to maintain our enchanted atmosphere. We will provide glitter, face/body paint and styling advice from the assistants of the Goddess of Beauty. We encourage you to get creative and prepare in advance!

Get inspired at our De rerum Natura Pinterest Board.

There is the option to join a workshop on Sunday 6th at 3pm to create your own headpiece for the gala, it has an extra cost of 40$ to cover material costs.

All the profits of the Hedo-Gala are invested to develop art projects destined to fight against Female Genital Mutilation.
