As a collective experience combining education, human connection, visual arts, and immersive encounters with dynamic performances, Hedoné holds a space free from convention and the weight of society. Here, you are free to embrace the power you hold inside.

With movements exploding in Berlin, Los Angeles, and Tulum, Hedoné is a global social-purpose organization that raises awareness for victims of female genital mutilation and works to liberate pleasure through art.

Hedoné is taking its powerful message to the City of Lights for a magical 24 hour journey beginning June 15th. We will travel back in time to an enchanted castle steeped in history, awaken all of your senses and rediscover the joys and pleasures of the human body, spirit, and mind.

Join us as we nurture and celebrate our inner Muse together. For within each of us resides a story-creator, a wild spirit and a divine embodiment of joy and inspiration.

***Programme***

"Hedoné Paris: Muses" is a journey to the Land of the Senses. A 24h cruise aboard a ship passing through shining, purifying waters, passing through a series of enchanted islands. We embark at noon on June 15th with a vegetarian brunch in the castle garden accompanied by live music. Please remember we will close the doors at 18h so you absolutely must arrive prior to this time.

Throughout the afternoon we will all participate in a series of workshops and experiences to nourish the body, soul and spirit and to prepare us for the evening ahead. Artistic performances will be available throughout the day. Beginning at 19h our ship will moor at the Land of the Senses. Dressed in our outfits of light, we will celebrate until the first light of day.

***Attire***

The ambience of the celebration is inspired by the poem “De Rerum Natura”, an ode to ethical hedonism. Elements that symbolise the beauty of the botanical world will be the main components of the decoration and dress code. Apart from flowers, feathers, shells, etc… light colored fabrics (white, cream, beige, silver, gold) are strongly encouraged. Body paint and bio-glitter are welcome. We also love skin! Transparency and nudity are encouraged and celebrated. We expect all participants to comply with the dress code in order to maintain our enchanted atmosphere and co-create a living painting - a mass performance against Female Genital Mutilation, bringing life to the expression “Don’t cut the Flower!“. ***Transportation***

The castle is only 45 km from Paris*, and we have thought of everything to make reaching us as easy as possible.

Accessible by train from Paris* (40 min.), a free shuttle will be waiting for you to drive you both to the castle as well as back to the train station (5 min. ride).

Arrival with private means of transportation (cars, carriages, unicorns) is also possible, but parking spots are very limited and will be located at the train station. Our free shuttle will take you from the train station to the castle. We kindly ask you to consider a more ecological way but in the case you decide to take your car, we ask to think of environment and consider car sharing.

Alternatively, taxis will be available for both directions of travel. More information about these taxi companies will be communicated to ticket holders.

*The exact address will be revealed to ticket holders one week before the event.

*Trains depart every hour from 11h to 17h on Saturday, June 15th, from Gare Montparnasse. The first departure back to Paris on Sunday morning, June 16th, is at 6.20h, followed by 8.20 - 10.20 - 11.20.

*Note that areas to rest and rejuvenate will be accessible throughout the event. However, no accommodation is provided on site. We can provide you with a list of housing nearby on request after confirmation of your application (see below).
